We, my husband and I ,thoroughly enjoyed this tour.
Our bikes were in good working order and we trialed them first. And our guide was wonderful. As I am a nervous rider in traffic he made us feel safe and constantly shepherded us thru traffic. Plus he was so knowledgeable about the history, it came alive for us.
The catacombs were amazing. The guide was very good and spoke very well.
We didn't want the tour to end. The aqueducts, the parks and all were just a treat. Do it ,this is a lovely way to see some of Rome.

Went on a private tour with bruno and he lead us all up and down the streets of rome, it felt so freeing and we were able to see the most beautiful sights in rome during the sunrise. Bruno was also very kind and super funny we really enjoyed his guidance!!!

We had a great day out. Starting at 8.10 heading out of town. A few stops along the way. A catacomb visit and then continue on the Appian way. Beautiful, quiet roads. Parks and aquaducts . Bruno had good historical knowledge and we were able to to stop when ready for photos. Lunch was good , with wine if you like then back to Rome with time to continue the Rome exploration.

We did the tour along the Appian Way, Catacombs and Aquaducts. Bruno was our Guide and he was fantastic … made it a wonderful experience. Not being cyclists, we took the medium electric bikes they were perfect. The turbo meant minimum effort, but excitement at times manoeuvring. The food was just lovely with aparative en route, and cycling back into Rome in the dark super. Found the whole trip exhilarating. Highly highly recommended. Thank you Bruno. This was a thrilling tour through the busy streets of Rome and the Appian Way. If you like danger, this tour is for you! In America, we are way too coddled. We sign waivers, we care too much about safety. It was refreshing to have a guide and a tour that just let it rip. We were asked to wear helmets (lame) but our guide didn't. And he took that full throttle attitude to leading our pack of 8.

The e-bikes were awesome, the tour started tame enough but quickly accelerated into a fun mountain bike adventure dodging cars, pedestrians and going through difficult muddy terrain in addition to uneven cobblestone.

The guide was knowledgeable about Roman history and shared a lot of killer insights about Ancient Rome. The catacombs were a fun diversion from the adrenaline rush of the bike ride which was a small dose of serenity, but mostly a full-on adventure flying through packs of people, reckless Italian drivers and city streets.

Sometimes these tours can be super lame when the guide tries to make sure everyone is safe. But fortunately, our guide was full throttle from start to finish which kept the cortisol levels high. I love a good tour where the outcome of life and death is in the balance and this certainly delivered. At one point, the guide led our pack across oncoming traffic with reckless abandon. I was bringing up the rear of the pack with my girl and had to make a split second decision to avoid getting hit by a bus. Hell yeah! This is living.

We didn't wreck. We didn't die. No crying in the casino. Book the tour, you won't regret it!

Great way to explore the Appian way and catacombs. Our guide was knowledgeable and the-bikes make it an easy ride. The stop at the cafe for a drink and light refreshments.

Verified our guide loved his job! He was enthusiastic and always giving great detail about the area. the lunch was tasty and there was enough to go around. This was a very different side of Rome away from the crowds and into the country! ebikes were comfortable. There was an area that we come across aheep and were told the locals could get cheese from the farmer, this would have been a great stop! Would definitely recommend!

Verified A very cool experience! I highly recommend doing this. If your only reservation is biking on Italian roads with the notoriously wild drivers, don’t fret. The guides mainly take you on small streets and have a very safe process in place for the very few times you have to cross larger roads.

Verified Zach was our guide. He did an amazing job. First thing you need to know about this tour is the e-bike does the work, but you still need to know how to ride a bike and be comfortable riding. This was m6 favorite thing I did in Rome. I did this in my first night right off an overnight plane. I got to see all the things when it wasn't busy. The weather was cooler and I got great tips in where to go and not go from a local. I cannot say it enough. Book this tour and you will not regret it.

Verified An Incredible Way to See Rome — Zak Made It Even Better!
This was easily one of the most memorable experiences of our time in Rome. Our Appian Way & Aqueducts E-Bike Tour gave us a completely different perspective on the city, and Zak was an absolutely fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable, personable, patient, and clearly passionate about the history of Rome. He had a great way of explaining what we were seeing without ever making it feel like a history lecture. He brought the history to life while keeping the entire experience relaxed and fun. The e-bikes were fantastic and made exploring such a large area incredibly enjoyable. Before long, we were away from the busy center of Rome, riding along ancient roads and through the countryside with thousands of years of history surrounding us. Riding the Appian Way was incredible, and seeing the enormous Roman aqueducts stretching across the landscape was one of the highlights. You can see photographs of these places, but actually riding alongside them while Zak explained their history gives you an entirely different appreciation for what the Romans accomplished. The catacombs were another fascinating part of the experience and gave us a glimpse into a completely different chapter of Roman history. What really made the day special was the combination of everything—the bikes, the countryside, the Appian Way, the aqueducts, the catacombs, the food, and especially Zak. It never felt like we were simply moving from one attraction to another. It felt like we were actually riding through the history of Rome. If you're visiting Rome and want to experience something beyond the usual sightseeing, do this tour. And if you get Zak as your guide, even better. One of our favorite experiences in Italy. Highly recommended!

Très bonne expérience. Avec la chaleur en journée, Rome devient beaucoup plus agréable en soirée. Les explications tout au long de la visite étaient top, le repas excellent. Via Appia tour, the one not to miss
We had a wonderful Via Appia tour. Our female tour guide was very active, knew everything there is to know and switched languages as a true polyglot.
The bikes were very good and as Dutch cyclists we know something about e-moutainbikes.
The included visit to the largest catacombes of Rome is very special also!
We can recommend this tour to everyone.
