I loved everything about this tour! Our guide, Zack was so knowledgeable and kind. He made the whole evening such a fun and informative time! I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful he is! We saw sooooo many hidden gems tucked away on less traveled Roman streets! And the food!? Amazing! Wine?? Even better! But Zack was the star of the TRIP! The e-bike tour with Silvia was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I never saw such beauty in Roma before! The e-bike ride is challenging but Silvia makes sure you are safe before we take off.
The only complaint I have is the appretivo

This might be the best tour you could possibly do while in all of italy . Our tour guide was the nicest Italian ive ever met. I took my 83 year old mother and my 20 year old daughter.  He accommodated us by having a bike she could ride on the back of which he drove. We laughed told jokes. He had a vast amount of historical knowledge.  It was 12 stars out of 10. We arrived by train and immediately went to our tour! It was so conveniently located. Our guide was funny and truly knowledgeable. I felt safe even though everything was so new, cobblestones, hills, traffic.  The food was delicious too! Was one of the best parts of our ten day trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour we had in Rome with Philippe. What a great way to tour around the city, through the narrow streets, to the hill top views. It was absolutely amazing to see so many of the sights and getting the historical background, and some very interesting stories. Because it was by bike, you got to see different sights covered in a shorter time than if you had to walk. And seeing these sights all lit up at night was absolutely magical, totally different than seeing in the daytime. It is a must to do during your visit to Rome!

A Wonderful Experience with ESBikes – Thank You, Zac!

We had such a wonderful time with ESBikes! From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

A special thank you to our amazing guide, Zac, who really made the experience memorable. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. What we appreciated most was how attentive he was to everyone's safety, especially while riding on the roads. He made us feel relaxed and confident throughout the tour.

The bikes themselves were in excellent condition, well maintained, and a pleasure to ride, which made the whole experience even better.

We came away with some lovely memories and big smiles! A huge thank you to Zac and the ESBikes team for such an enjoyable experience. We would happily do it all over again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We had the best time on the Ebike tour at night & saw Rome from a whole new perspective. All the landmarks lite up at night, not so many people, totally recommend this as a preferred option & have suggested to others visiting Rome to choose this option. Pur guide was absolutely 💯 perfect, full of knowledge. We incl food & wine on our tour. Our guide ensured everyone was comfortable with tgeir bike & was concious of our safety. We visited a church ⛪️ that we had no idea about -St Ignatius 😍 breathtaking stunning & quite moving place to visit. Maybe, because we were there at night but the ambience of this church was next level & brought some in our grp to tears due to personal reasons (very special). Not everyone in our grp was an experienced rider & by the end of it we all said this was by far a highlight of our trip in Rome & in Italy. 10/10 thanku to our wonderful tour guide. Rome at night was a beautiful sight
This is a bit different than the standard tours in Rome. We really liked it, but see the notes below. Leo, from E-Bike Tours was our guide through the city at night. The best thing about the night on a bike is that you get viewpoints you don’t see during the day. The highlight was a view of the Colossus of Constantine from a gateway on an access road, not something you’re going to see from a tour bus. We biked through most of the downtown tourist area and saw all the attractions lit up at night. It was a lot of fun. One other thing, the food stop at the end was one of my favorites during our time in Rome. Nice surprise. Notes: I’m 60 and had no issue. The ebikes take all the work out of riding, the riding part of the tour was 2.5 hours and I could’ve gone another 2 hours. Easily. That said, it’s still pretty congested with people and you need to be able to control a bike reasonably well. Sharp turns, small spaces abound. High speed does not. Great time.

A perfect day ...
Had a fantastic day with Bruno! Bikes were in great shape and easy to use even for a first timer. The pace was just right. Bruno was the perfect blend of information, humor, and time to just enjoy the ride. I did the catacombs and lunch option - the whole day was full of pleasant surprises. C’est une expérience que j’ai l’habitude de faire quand je visite une ville et nous n’avons pas été déçu ! El clima le dio un toque genial al día. The absolute best thing we did while we were in Rome, highly, highly recommend this excursion. Our guide made sure that we all stayed together and stayed safe during the bike ride. He did an amazing job. My husband was pretty nervous about riding bikes at night on the busy streets in Rome, but we didn’t feel unsafe, not one time. We took us around two a couple spots and we had some good food and some good wine, but the Colosseum at night, the Trevi fountain, was amazing. We got there right when they were opening it up at 10 o’clock in the evening and we were able to make it over to the fountain of love and me and my husband were able to drink from it. It was amazing. It started raining about 20 minutes before the end and it was pouring down rain and lightning. We pulled off to the side of a building and took cover for a little bit before we braved the rest of the ride back to the bike store.. Unser Guide war begeistert von seiner Arbeit! Er war enthusiastisch und gab immer detaillierte Informationen über die Gegend. Das Mittagessen war lecker und es gab genug Auswahl. Dies war eine ganz andere Seite Roms, fernab der Massen und in die Natur! Die E-Bikes waren komfortabel. Es gab einen Bereich, in dem wir eine Herde mit Rindern sahen und uns gesagt wurde, dass die Einheimischen von dem Bauern Käse kaufen könnten – das wäre ein toller Zwischenstopp gewesen! Eine unglaubliche Art, Rom zu erleben – Zak hat es noch besser gemacht!Dies war ohne Zweifel eine der unvergesslichsten Erlebnisse unserer Zeit in Rom. Unsere E-Bike-Tour „Appian Way & Aqueducts“ brachte uns eine völlig andere Perspektive auf die Stadt, und Zak war ein absolut fantastischer Guide. Er war kompetent, sympathisch, geduldig und hatte eindeutig eine Leidenschaft für die Geschichte Roms. Er vermittelte die Geschichte auf eine sehr unterhaltsame und entspannte Art und Weise, ohne dass wir das Gefühl hatten, eine Geschichtsstunde zu besuchen. Er brachte die Geschichte zum Leben und hielt gleichzeitig die gesamte Erfahrung entspannt und unterhaltsam. Die E-Bikes waren fantastisch und machten die Erkundung einer so großen Gegend unglaublich angenehm. Schon bald befanden wir uns außerhalb des geschäftigen Zentrums Roms und fuhren entlang alter Straßen und durch die Landschaft, in der Tausende von Jahren Geschichte zu spüren waren. Das Radfahren auf der Appian Way war unglaublich und die Sicht auf die riesigen römischen Aquädukte, die sich über die Landschaft erstreckten, war einer der Höhepunkte. Man kann Fotos dieser Orte sehen, aber das Radfahren entlang der Routen, während Zak die Geschichte erklärt, gibt einem eine völlig andere Wertschätzung für das, was die Römer geleistet haben. Die Katakomben waren ein weiterer faszinierender Aspekt der Erfahrung und haben uns einen Einblick in ein völlig anderes Kapitel der römischen Geschichte gegeben. Was den Tag wirklich besonders machte, war die Kombination aus allem – den Motorrädern, der Landschaft, der Appian-Straße, den Aquädukten, den Katakomben, dem Essen und besonders Zak. Man hatte nie das Gefühl, einfach von einer Attraktion zur anderen zu reisen. Man hatte das Gefühl, tatsächlich durch die Geschichte Roms zu reisen. Wenn Sie Rom besuchen und etwas anderes als die üblichen Sightseeing-Touren erleben möchten, sollten Sie diese Tour buchen. Und wenn Sie Zak als Reiseleiter haben, ist das noch besser. Abend in RomDie beste Tour, die wir bisher gemacht haben. Ein sehr unterhaltsamer Ausflug mit dem E-Bike, bei dem man bei Nacht die wunderschönen Sehenswürdigkeiten bewundern kann. Appian Way Fahrradtour mit BrunoIch habe diese Tour sehr genossen. Es war sehr interessant und fantastisch, Teile Roms zu sehen, die ich sonst vielleicht hätte verpasst. Unser Guide war fantastisch und hat dafür gesorgt, dass alle sicher waren, insbesondere unsere 14-jährige Enkelin. Die Via Appia-Tour, die man nicht verpassen sollteWir hatten eine wunderbare Tour entlang der Via Appia. Unsere weibliche Reiseleiterin war sehr aktiv, wusste alles Wissenswerte und wechselte sogar die Sprache, wie es eine echte Mehrsprachige tun sollte.
Die Fahrräder waren sehr gut und als niederländische Radfahrer wissen wir etwas über E-Mountainbikes.
Auch der Besuch der größten Katakomben Roms ist ein ganz besonderer Anlass!
