Absolutely outstanding! This was, without question, the best tour we have ever done in Rome, despite having visited several times over the years.

From the fascinating catacombs to a wonderful lunch, the spectacular aqueducts and cycling along the historic Appian Way, every part of the day was exceptional.

Our guide, Bruno, was fantastic. Knowledgeable, engaging, personable and attentive throughout. There were a few tricky sections along the route, but Bruno always gave us clear instructions and helpful guidance before we reached them, so we felt confident and well looked after the entire time.

The whole experience was beautifully organized, interesting, fun and an incredible way to see a different side of Rome.

We cannot recommend this tour or Bruno highly enough. If you’re visiting Rome, put this tour on your must-do list. You won’t regret it!

Çok keyifli bir tur oldu, via appiah nefis bir coğrafyada tarih ve spor... Bisikletlerin durumu çok iyiydi. Emin olun yorulmadan çok keyifli bir gezi yapıyorsunuz. Oğlumla birlikte harika vakit geçirdik. Rehberimiz Silvia için özel parantez açmak isterim; Türkiye'de yaşamış ve Türkçe biliyor. Çok ilgilendi ve çok güzel anlattı bölgeyi. Ona da özel teşekkürler. I loved everything about this tour! Our guide, Zack was so knowledgeable and kind. He made the whole evening such a fun and informative time! I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful he is! We saw sooooo many hidden gems tucked away on less traveled Roman streets! And the food!? Amazing! Wine?? Even better! But Zack was the star of the TRIP! The e-bike tour with Silvia was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I never saw such beauty in Roma before! The e-bike ride is challenging but Silvia makes sure you are safe before we take off.
The only complaint I have is the appretivo

Rome at night was a beautiful sight
This is a bit different than the standard tours in Rome. We really liked it, but see the notes below. Leo, from E-Bike Tours was our guide through the city at night. The best thing about the night on a bike is that you get viewpoints you don’t see during the day. The highlight was a view of the Colossus of Constantine from a gateway on an access road, not something you’re going to see from a tour bus. We biked through most of the downtown tourist area and saw all the attractions lit up at night. It was a lot of fun. One other thing, the food stop at the end was one of my favorites during our time in Rome. Nice surprise. Notes: I’m 60 and had no issue. The ebikes take all the work out of riding, the riding part of the tour was 2.5 hours and I could’ve gone another 2 hours. Easily. That said, it’s still pretty congested with people and you need to be able to control a bike reasonably well. Sharp turns, small spaces abound. High speed does not. Great time.

A perfect day ...
Had a fantastic day with Bruno! Bikes were in great shape and easy to use even for a first timer. The pace was just right. Bruno was the perfect blend of information, humor, and time to just enjoy the ride. I did the catacombs and lunch option - the whole day was full of pleasant surprises. The absolute best thing we did while we were in Rome, highly, highly recommend this excursion. Our guide made sure that we all stayed together and stayed safe during the bike ride. He did an amazing job. My husband was pretty nervous about riding bikes at night on the busy streets in Rome, but we didn’t feel unsafe, not one time. We took us around two a couple spots and we had some good food and some good wine, but the Colosseum at night, the Trevi fountain, was amazing. We got there right when they were opening it up at 10 o’clock in the evening and we were able to make it over to the fountain of love and me and my husband were able to drink from it. It was amazing. It started raining about 20 minutes before the end and it was pouring down rain and lightning. We pulled off to the side of a building and took cover for a little bit before we braved the rest of the ride back to the bike store.. ¡Nuestro guía adoró su trabajo! Era entusiasta y siempre daba muchos detalles sobre el área. El almuerzo era delicioso y había suficiente para todos. ¡Fue un lado muy diferente de Roma, lejos de la multitud y en el campo! Una manera increíble de ver Roma — ¡Zak la hizo aún mejor!Esta fue fácilmente una de las experiencias más memorables de nuestra estancia en Roma. Nuestro recorrido en bicicleta eléctrica por la Appian Way y los acueductos nos dio una perspectiva completamente diferente de la ciudad, y Zak fue un guía absolutamente fantástico. Era conocedor, simpático, paciente y claramente apasionado por la historia de Roma. Tenía una gran manera de explicar lo que estábamos viendo sin que nunca se sintiera como una clase de historia. Leía la historia a la vida mientras mantenía toda la experiencia relajada y divertida. Las bicicletas eléctricas fueron fantásticas y hicieron que explorar una zona tan grande fuera increíblemente gratificante. En poco tiempo nos alejamos del centro ocupado de Roma, recorriendo carreteras antiguas y pasando por el campo, rodeados de milenios de historia. Conducir por la Appian Way fue increíble y ver los enormes acueductos romanos que se extendían a través del paisaje fue uno de los momentos más destacados. Se pueden ver fotografías de estos lugares, pero montar junto a ellos mientras Zak explicaba su historia nos brinda una apreciación completamente diferente de lo que los romanos lograron. Las catacumbas fueron otra parte fascinante de la experiencia y nos dieron una visión de un capítulo completamente diferente de la historia romana. Lo que realmente hizo que el día fuera especial fue la combinación de todo: las bicicletas, el campo, la Appia, los acueductos, las catacumbas, la comida y especialmente Zak. Nunca tuvimos la sensación de estar simplemente desplazándonos de una atracción a otra. Simplemente nos sentíamos como si estuvimos realmente recorriendo la historia de Roma. Si visitas Roma y quieres experimentar algo más allá de la típica visita turística, ¡haz este tour! Y si tienes a Zak como guía, ¡qué mejor! Via Appia tour, ¡una visita que no se puede perder!Realizamos un maravilloso recorrido por la Via Appia. Nuestra guía femenina fue muy dinámica, sabía todo lo que había que saber y cambió de idioma como auténtica poliglota.
Las bicicletas eran muy buenas y como ciclistas holandeses sabemos algo sobre las e-mountainbikes.
¡La visita incluida a las catacumbas más grandes de Roma también es muy especial!
